About IHRM Conference
Over the past few weeks, many of you have been inquiring about the impact of the coronavirus pandemia on the 16th IHRM conference in Paris, France on June 2-5, 2020.
Although the organizing committee has spent months preparing for a very rich and interesting program to host you in Paris, health and safety come above all else. With great sadness, we had to take the very hard but necessary decision to cancel the conference in June. We acknowledge that this decision might be of a great disappointment to you, however, we count on your understanding and support in this time of crisis.
We will not postpone the conference.
I want to thank each and every one of you for submitting your paper and for helping with the review process.
On behalf of the organizing committee, I wish you all health and safety.
Maral Muratbekova-Touron, Conference Chair
16th International Human Resource Management Conference
June 2-5, 2020
The International Human Resource Management conference is the event where academics in HRM and related fields, as well as HR practitioners from all over the world, meet in a relaxed and friendly environment to participate in knowledge creation and practical application.
From its beginning, IHRM conferences were all about:
- Gathering an international and passionate community of HR scholars and practitioners in a stimulating and pleasant environment;
- Providing great opportunities to exchange insights and discussions regarding the latest HR topics;
- Building international networks and exploring new collaborative projects.
The first International Human Resource Management Conference was held in the late 1980’s. Over the last three decades, IHRM Conferences were held every two years at different locations all around the world such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Ashridge House (United Kingdom), Gold Coast (Australia), San Diego (United States of America), Paderborn (Germany), Limerick (Ireland), Cairns (Australia), Tallinn (Estonia), Santa Fe-New Mexico (United States of America), Birmingham (United Kingdom), Gurgaon (India), Krakow (Poland); Victoria-British Columbia (Canada), and Madrid (Spain).
In 2020, the 16th International Human Resource Management Conference will be held, for the first time, in Paris, France. It will be hosted by the Department of Management at ESCP Europe Business School and it will include a PhD workshop.
We look forward to welcoming you in June 2020!
